Losses are lessons

"Don't worry I got you!" Samantha said to the almost swallowed Sanamora, "No, Sam, you gotta go!" Sanamora yelled, Sam smiled at her best friend, "That isn't in my vocabulary." Sam pulled Sanamora out of the titans mouth and threw her onto a nearby building, "Tell everyone to live on for me, and to smile when they think of me." Sam said as she quickly ripped off her Garrison badge from her jacket and throwing it to Sanamora, "But-"

CHOMP!

Sanamora couldn't believe it, this ugly creature just took away someone dear to her, and now that person is just a patch of two roses on cloth. With tears in her eyes, Sanamora got up and pursued the titan that ate her sisterly-friend, "Come back here you motherfucker!" Sanamora yelled about to slice the nape only for the titans' head to get knocked off by another titan. "Huh?" Sanamora landed on a roof top to take a look at the rouge titan, "That titan killed another titan?" Sanamora questioned as the brown haired 15 meter continued to stomp on the now steaming body of the other titan, "Squad leader Hanji is gonna love this when she gets back."


"Wait, what?" Sanamora said as she saw a boy come out of the rouge titans neck, "I… What?" Sanamoras' brain was steaming like a dead titan trying to get her head around this. Sanamora stopped thinking when she saw an oriental girl run up to the boy and hug him, Sanamora looked down with regret, "I wish Sammy was still here." Sanamora whispered then turned to climb the wall.


The court room filled with the sound of kicks and punches coming from captain Levi, Sanamora knew it was for the titan boys own good but she couldn't help but want to push Levi away, the boy was still human after all.

Sanamora walked with Hanji down the empty hall, "So your friend died trying to save you?" Hanji said, Sanamora stiffened at the mention of Sam, "Yeah, she gave me her Garrison badge, if only I went with you guys outside the walls I could have prevented this." Sanamora said as sadness filled her voice, Hanji sighed, "In this kind of job we humans are powerless, if you came with us it would of still happened with you there or not. Its not your fault, it was her, Sam did it on her own accord to protect you. You should have known and been prepared when you joined the corps that it only lead to the death of loved ones." Hanji explained as she stopped at her office door, "Eren got eaten and then turned titan, it would be cool if your friend actually survived because she was a titan." Hanji smiled, Sanamora shook her head, "I know Sammy isn't a titan, if she was she would have told me."

Sanamora made her way to the lunch hall only to see a blonde sitting with the oriental and Eren, "Must be one of his friends." Sanamora thought as she grabbed a tray. Making her way to sit at Erens table, she sat down only to startle the three rookies, "Yo." Sanamora said as she started eating her food, "H-Hi." Armin said with nervousness in his voice.

"So titan boy got eaten?" Sanamora asked, it was quiet for a moment until Eren nodded, "And blondie saw it happen?" Armin nodded, "You must have cried when it happened." Sanamora couldn't help but giggle a little, "Its not funny!" Eren yelled at the blonde girl, Sanmora stopped laughing, "Sorry, I just can't help but see myself in blondies shoes." Sanamora set her spoon down, "You've been inside a titans mouth?" Armin asked, Sanamora nodded, "Someone of the Garrison saved me and pulled me out only for them to be eaten instead, nothing remained." Eren eyed the other side of the blondes' jacket to see a Garrison badge that was badly sown on to the chest pocket where a Scout badge should be. "This person was part of the Garrison." Sanamora nodded, "And nothing remained?" Eren asked, "Not even the clothes." Eren pointed at the blonds' chest, "Then why do you have a Garrison badge?" Sanamora covered it up, "Why are you looking at my chest?" Sanamora laughed when the boys' face glowed red, "She gave it to me when she saved me." Sanamora said making the boys' face to go back to the normal color of his skin. "She was like a sister to me, I knew her since before Wall Marias fall. I couldnt do anything fast enough to save her, I came here to say thank you." Sanamora said before getting up to walk away, "Thank me for what?" Eren asked. "Avenging Sammy."


It reached that time again, time to go outside the walls, this time Sanamoras chest was burning with determination to kill every single titan, "For Sammy." Sanamora thought as the gates opened.

Everyone broke up to go into their own squad, being part of the soldiers before the fall of Wall Maria Sanamora knew the plan to get the Female Titan. Sanamora looked around to see if any titans were in sight, when she spotted an abnormal (doing what Sanamora calls gay run) she quickly reached for the flare gun but stopped when she saw another behind it and then another, a whole group was coming for the kill, "Damn it!" Sanamora cursed as she quickly grabbed the black flare, "I guess its time for the plan to take action." Sanamora said as she shot the flare.

Sanamora looked back to the group of titans only to see another one, a skinless 14 meter class titan with blonde hair, "Bacon lady." Sanamora thought as she looked over to one of her fellow soldiers, "You all need to get out of here, tell Erwin about what's-" Sanamora stopped once she saw her squad get hit across the field by the female, "Shit." Sanamora kicked her horse to go faster to get away from the group and shifter, It was no use, Sanamora fell off her horse due to the air pressure of the females' running.

Sanamora woke to the sight of the creepiest smile, that looked like a rapist, staring down at her, "Shit motherfucker with McTitan fries." Sanamora looked around her to see the bodies of her subordinates on the once green grass, collecting herself Sanamora got up and tried to run but got stopped by the hand of the rapist titan gripping her body, "No! Let go you stupid giant naked baby!" Sanamora said to the 10 meter that was about to bite down on her. Sanamora closed her eyes for the fate that the so called God gave her, "Im sorry Sammy, but at least I'm coming to see you again." thought as she neared her death.

Sanamora opened her eyes once she felt liquid come across her face, she saw the titan stop and fall over and let go of Sanamora. "You alright?" A voice said, Sanamora looked over to see one of her subordinates, known as Marko, holding out a hand for her. "Yeah, thanks Flame-boy. Why are you here?" Sanamora asked as she grabbed the black haired mans' hand, "Saw the black flare and thought about how you could be in danger, I'm sorry I didn't come sooner to save everyone else." Marko looked down at the blood soaked grass, "Its alright, they died for a good cause, and if it weren't for them holding back the titans for a short amount of time I wouldn't be here now, someone who will avenge their death." Marko smiled. "You are one crazy chick."


Everyone looked at the soldiers with disgust, they were whispering about how all their money is being wasted on the Scouting Legion. "Marko." Sanamora called, Marko rode up next to Sanamora, "You should have just let me die." Marko was silent, "I could have been with Sammy again." that was it thats what made Marko slap the blonde upside the head, "Don't you ever fuckin' say that, Samantha would have wanted you to live for her, not die!" Marko yelled, "Good work, brat." Levi interrupted the conversation between them, "If it wasn't for Marko I would have punched you in the face like titan-brat over there." Levi gestured to the brunette teen in the cart, "As reward for that hit, no more cleaning duty for you, Marko." Marko smiled with glee, "Instead of a week its three days." Levi added quickly, Marko frowned. Sanamora watched as Marko sulked and Levi walked up ahead only to get stopped by an old man.

"They're right, I shouldn't be thinking things like that. Sammy wouldn't have wanted me to die but rather live to tell the story of the Garrison member who helped her. The Garrison soldier who wasn't like the other fools on the walls. She was the one who had the Wings of Freedom but wanted to stay close to the other roses on the ground."
