Coffee Stain and Paint (PREVIEW)

This is a WIP, preview thing-a-ma-bobber. Its not finished but it will get done, just letting you taste half of what I got done...

Annie closed her locker after getting her things, and walked down the crowded hall to the exit, hoping not to get stopped by anyone, but to her disappointment she was stopped. "Hey, Annie!" A voice called out, Annie rolled her eyes and sighed, a arm hooked around Annies neck, looking up she saw a classmate of hers, Reiner Braun. "What is it, Reiner?" Annie said with obvious annoyance in her voice, "I just wanted to see how my good pal was up too. You wanna go catch a movie with Bertholdt and me?" Reiner smiled, but Annie didn't, "I'd rather read the book first." Annie said knowing that most of the movies they're making these days are based off books like Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and Divergent. Annie pushed Reiners arm off her and began to walk again.


Annie got to her house door and unlocked it. Entering, she put down her school stuff and made her way into the living room. It wasn't that out of the ordinary, it had a T.V. and furniture to sit on, but the T.V. was dusty, looking like it hadn't been used since it was bought. The only things that weren't dusty were the furniture (of course) and the books that were resting on top of a easy to reach shelf, since Annie was short, the few top shelves were almost empty and slightly dusty. Annie walked over to the book shelf and grabbed a book to read, picking the book she wanted she sat down on the couch.

After an hour reading she set the book down on the coffee table and left the living room to go down the hall to a specific room. Opening the door, it was filled with paintings of dark nightmare creatures with dark colors and 3 easels, and some paint stains in the carpet. Annie walked over to a pile of paintings and pulled out a blank canvas, setting it on a easel.

When Annie was halfway done she looked outside the window to see the street lights were on, "Guess its time to clean up." Annie sighed and made her way to the bathroom to wash the paint off her hands. After Annie was done she went to sleep, "Im running out of canvases, I'll need to get some more from the store." Annie thought as she layer in bed. Soon Annie closed her eyes and fell asleep.


Annie wouldn't say she didn't like school, it was sometimes a annoyance, but the reason she sleeps in class was because she's up all night painting. "Miss Leonhardt?" Annies science teacher, Hanji Zoe, said standing in front of Annies desk. Annie was a light sleeper too, so it didn't help when she lives near a busy street, "Yes, Ms. Zoe?" Annie said looking up from her crossed arms that were on her desk, Hanji sighed, "Since you seem to just 'love' my class, can you go up and solve this problem?" Hanji said pushing up her glasses. Annie rolled her eyes and got up to write on the board, she could hear people were whispering about her and giggling, probably saying how she would fail since she always slept in class. They were speechless when Annie put down the marker and walked way from the correct answer that was written on the board, Annie was no fool, she might have slept in class, but she always did her homework. "Thank you, Miss Leonhardt." Hanji said as she went to erase the answer along with the problem, "Yeah." Annie said laying her head back to sleep once again, she opened her eyes for a minute to see the student behind her, Reiner, he was giving a thumbs up.

Annie looked at the clock, it was five minutes until lunch, she slowly packed her things and got up to leave, Hanji was about to stop her but then the bell rang. Hanji sighed, "Okay guys, I hope you have a good weekend." she waved at the leaving students.

Annie sat down on the bleachers and watched the football players practicing, bored, Annie took out a notebook and started to sketch out the people around her as monsters. Ymir, Annie never really talked to the star of the basketball team and dancer but she knew Ymir has a way with teasing people, she sketched this girl with long loose black hair with razor teeth and long claws at the end of her fingers wrapped around a small long haired blonde girl with a crown and wings. "I wonder what its like to have someone to protect." Annie thought as she closed her notebook when she heard people coming her way.
